Beyond Time

“God exists out of space and time continuum”

Let’s look at an example 💭

“If you were to go back in time, like let’s say 1876, then you got stranded and needed help, as a Christian your first action is to pray right? The question most people would ask “which God am I praying to?””
Which brings up the thought of a past, present and future God, right? So that means the past God doesn’t know of the God of the future yet…😞

That is His future self…💭💭

Then can the God of the past which you travelled to help you to travel to the Future? 😲

I’m stuck like literally, my mind cannot move on from there…😶

But does that not limit our God? Umm…NO😏

Can God be limited?? 💭

NO…?? *duhh😏

Which then brings us to the actual point which is that God exists out of time and space…

What is my point??…you just asked that right? 😏

Well my point is that He has already done what you have asked of Him, God already knows what you need even before you need it, He has provided for all your needs even before you have them!

Which is why the bible says that God knows the end from the beginning…

It then brings up the question of Freewill

That is, if He knows the end from the beginning, does that not mean that He knows how we will end? How does that not affect our free will?

💭 Well just cos I have looked into the future and seen that I will have an A, does that mean that the future controls my present? Do I stop reading? Do I stop preparing for my exams? If I were to stop preparing cos I know I would have an A, wouldn’t that change the future?? Lol, which means that I still have control over what I’m doing right? Over what grade I will have cos it doesn’t depend on the end, it depends on what I’m doing in the present..

It’s not your end you should be worried about, it’s not your death that should scare you. Jesus already conquered death, He won that fight, like it’s really redundant and a waste of time to be scared of dying, it’s like fighting a dead soldier….stupid right???

It’s your life that should scare you, how well are you living it? What are you doing now? How is that adding to your value as a christian first, as a part of your family, as a friend and as a member of your community??

There’s a lot to think about here but I want you to never forget that we serve an awesome and super cool God…like “Super God” ☺️☺️

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”Philippians 4:8

  1. I was just discussing a very similar topic last night and found a similar conclusion. A way we came to discuss God outside of time (and space) is by recognizing that anything eternal cannot “age” or grow any older; at any point an eternal being is no older nor younger than the moment before or after. In this way, the God depicted in Gen 1 was still the God of “Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” even though Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob had not existed yet. Understanding this point is critical to understanding God’s plan for your (personal and individual) life prior to the creation of the universe.
Really enjoyed reading this today, thanks for sharing.

    1. Well, for one the fact that we are here right now is enough evidence. Also, time has effect. That is, as long as you within its ambits, it will affect you somehow, that’s why we age, why we are born, why we die, why there is a cycle of hatred, of love and every other thing humans are being plagued with or blessed with now.
Then we also history, we are able to know what happened millions of years ago even when we weren’t there….because God has been there from the onset and has directed and showed us where to find these evidence of human past and history.
Yes, most people will find the above arguable, there’s nothing in this world that isn’t arguable. But there has been a constant being through our human history, someone (?)kick started our existence, put it into motion and not even science has been able to perfectly explain how we came about.
There is more than enough evidence of the existence of God. The ability to create is enough for me; being able to sustain life; our human essence, what makes us who we are; what differentiates us from corpses; that one thing we humans have tried to contain and explain. God is in every thing and everyone and just because most people don’t believe? That in itself is not enough to negate His existence.

      1. If that I’d enough for you to believe ok, but I asked for evidence of his actual existence, not just why you believe. -KIA

      2. That is evidence of His existence, which is also enough for me and millions of others to believe. The same way you don’t see air but know it’s there because you are able to breathe, is almost similar to the existence of God. However we see God in His creations, and in every other thing He allows us to see! Also there is physical evidence that Jesus lived here on earth just as the bible says and that invariably implies that every other thing the bible says is true.

      3. The question wasn’t why you believe there is a god based on these things that you infer by circular reasoning your particular god has done. Any non christian theist can do the same. The question was have you any evidence of his actual existence… not just effects that you ascribe to his working based on faith?

      4. If the question is if I have any actual evidence of His existence, then I answered it. There’s so much evidence around that you just have to pick one out of all of them. Is it physical evidence you want? Isn’t the tree enough physical evidence of that? Ny existence as a human being today is a physical evidence of His existence. Just because you don’t see something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, which is where I think your question stems from! You want physical evidence because you cannot see Him. You want a picture that says “this is God”. Which is actually quite conflicting seeing as you cannot see air but you know it’s there. Why do you believe in air which just helps you breathe but not in God? Its invisible too. You are also able to believe in the laws of gravity: which states that whatever goes up must also come down; and the laws of aerodynamics which allows an airplane to go up and stay up there till it lands. If your mind is able to place both laws side by side and accept them as valid? Why is it so difficult for you to believe in a God that you cannot see?
You believe in feelings, don’t you? Not just love but being able to be angry, to be sad, to be curious and you will easily agree that the chemicals in our bodies come together and produce these feelings…but you find it difficult to accept as evidence the trees around you, your life, the world as a whole as coming together to be evidence that God did all of that, that there is a God?? God came down once, over 2000 years ago. He showed Himself to mankind, since everyone wanted to see Him…and you know what we did? We killed Him. That went well didn’t it? It’s a futile and useless effort for Him to show Himself to us. Because even If God were to come down and allow you take a picture of Him? You wouldn’t still believe…is there really any need?
And oh as humans we tend to idolize every material thing around us, so, there is also, again!! No need for Him to let us take a picture of Him, we will only end up idolizing it.
So if all I have said isn’t enough for you, if it doesn’t answer your question then I’m sorry, there’s nothing more I can say! You can try asking God for an actual evidence of His existence and I bet He will show it to you!!

      5. Like I said, I don’t think you understand the question. Or you are intentionally dodging it. Have a great day.

      6. I wish I were intentionally dodging it, I don’t even think you know what you want from the question you are asking me! Because if you really did, you would either try to dispute all i say or you would say that’s a wrong answer but you saying I don’t understand the question just shows you don’t understand what you are asking me too…Have a great day too
